The Word of Revelation from Heaven

Introductory Lesson 3

 The Figurative Seed and Field

Main References: Mt 13:31-32

Mt 13:31-32
31 He told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.
32 Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches."

Parable: The kingdom of heaven → mustard seed (in his field)

💭What are the true meaning of the figurative seed and field?
Seed = Word
Field = A person's heart and church

 Explanation

1. Figurative Seed
Mk 4:13
Then Jesus said to them, "Don't you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable?
➨The parable of the seed is the basis of all the parables

💭What are the physical characteristics of the seed?
1) The origin of life of all living things
2) You reap what you sow

1. The true meaning of the figurative seed
Lk 8:11
"This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.

Mk 4:14
The farmer sows the word.

1 Pet 1:23
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

2. Types of figurative seeds
☝There are two types of spirit God and The devil. So there are two types of seed: God's seed and The devil's seed.

3) The importance of the figurative seed

Jer 31:27
"The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will plant the kingdoms of Israel and Judah with the offspring of people and of animals.

Mt 13:24-25
24 Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.

Mt 13:37-39
37 He answered, "The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man
38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one,
39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

1 Jn 3:9-10
9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.
10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God's child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.
➨the secrets of heaven = Seed

2. Figurative Field
💭What are the physical characteristics of the seed?
1) Where seeds are sowed
2) Where seeds grow and bear fruit

1 Cor 3:9
For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building.

Lk 8:15
But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Mt 13:38

➨The true meaning of the figurative field = Person's heart, church

4. Parable of Four Types of Fields

Mt 13:3-8  Parables of sowing seeds

1) Path
Mt 13: 18-19
18 "Listen then to what the parable of the sower means:
19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path.

2) Rocky field
Mt 13:20-21
20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.
21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

3) Thorny field
Mt 13:22
The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.

4) Good soil
Mt 13:23
But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

Christianity is Changing: Insights from the Shincheonji Bible Seminar

Christianity is Changing: Insights from the Shincheonji Bible Seminar      On October 5, the "Testimony on the Fulfilled Realities of Revelation" seminar held by Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, marked a significant turning point in the relationship between traditional Christian leaders and the church. Attracting over 400 pastors and seminary students, the event showcased an intriguing phenomenon: many who had previously opposed Shincheonji were now eager to hear Chairman Lee Man-hee's teachings firsthand.  Chairman Lee’s address emphasized the "truth" found within Shincheonji’s doctrine, challenging the misconceptions often associated with the church. His passionate call for attendees to critically examine their beliefs and the teachings of Shincheonji resonated deeply. Many pastors, who once viewed the church as a cult, found themselves reflecting on their own practices and acknowledging the gaps in their understanding of biblical teachings...

The Word Chosen by 100,000 People: Why Are Believers Flocking to Shincheonji Church of Jesus?

The Shincheonji Church of Jesus, having successfully completed two 100,000-member graduation ceremonies, held its third.  Notably, this ceremony has garnered attention due to the graduation of a significant number of pastors. One might wonder why so many people have chosen the teachings of Shincheonji. It's intriguing, especially considering Shincheonji has faced considerable opposition from established church denominations. The fact that so many believers flock to hear its teachings is certainly surprising. Shincheonji has been actively holding online seminars via YouTube and has formally signed MOUs with 9,593 churches across 80 countries. Shincheonji promises to collaborate with these churches, teaching not only the words of Revelation but also systematically teaching the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Furthermore, 1,365 churches in 30 countries have changed their signs to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, showing unity through the word. Why are believers flocking to Shincheonj...

The Shicheonji Church of Jesus recently held a Bible exchange program, which was attended by 80 religious leaders. We live in a world with a diverse array of religions.   The word "religion" means "re-connect," as it allows humans to connect with God.  But why do people believe in religion? What is religion, and which scriptures hold the most truth?  Unfortunately, religion can also lead to conflicts and even wars in our global society. In light of this, one pastor is calling for unity among religions.  The Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony recently held a bible interchanging program, called the "1st Revelation Special Lecture," from February 20th to 23rd in Seoul and Gyeonjji, Korea. This program brought together 80 religious leaders from 10 different religions and 27 countries, including Korea.  A Hindu religious leader stated, "Let's gather with open hearts and break down barriers to become one...
