Basic Biblical Knowledge Lesson 3


1. Within all of creation of spiritual and physical realms, there exist God, Satan and all creation. 

2. God is the Creator of all creation, and He is the one and only God.

Jn 4:24 
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

Gn 1:1 
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Is 37:16
LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

3. The devil is the fallen angel, cherub. 
Jos 5:13-14 
13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”
14 “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord[a] have for his servant?”

4. All things are creatures made by God. 

Jn 1:1-4 
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 
2 He was with God in the beginning. 
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

5. The lifespan of man was decreased due to sin and eventually led to death.
Jas 1:15 
Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

Gn 6:1-3
1 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,
2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 
Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

Ps 90:10 
Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

6. War continued between God and the devil.
