"Please verify why Shincheonji is growing amid a decline in religious circles"

Despite COVID-19, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man-Hee Lee, hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Church of Jesus), has grown in membership by nearly 20,000 this year. This increase in membership is drawing significant attention from both inside and outside religious communities, particularly given that Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been conduction full-scale non-face-to-face services and meetings since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the 20th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus announced that they will hold their 112th online graduation ceremony of the Zion Christian Mission Center on the 26th, having produced a total of 18,838 graduates (11,162 in Korea and 7,676 overseas). The graduation ceremony, which starts at noon on the 26th, will be broadcast worldwide via the official YouTube channel of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

The graduation ceremony will be led by Chairman Man-Hee Lee, who will deliver the graduation ceremony service, followed by director greetings, awards for graduating, evangelism and full attendance, and also graduating speeches.

The Zion Christian Mission Center is the Bible teaching institute of Shincheonji Church of Jesus and provides free Bible education. Upon completion, one can freely enter Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

The Zion Christian Mission Center has been fully online during the COVID-19 pandemic, and 18,383 people completed it last year. Even after the full suspension of face-to-face religious activities due to COVID-19, 37,220 people completed the Bible teaching course online and officially entered Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

Amid a significant increase in the number of members leaving the traditional churches due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the membership of Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been increasing because of its Bible-centered evangelism method.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, "Many people have taken an active interest in the high level of Bible education provided by Shincheonji Church of Jesus through the COVID-19 pandemic, in an environment where they can access the word. On the 26th, people can know why Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been growing while religious circles decline, via a graduation ceremony that will be aired on YouTube".

  1. This was an unprecedented online graduation ceremony. A growth of nearly 20,000 members in 2021 alone is, by the standard of any religious group, something to be marvelled at. I now understand why Shincheonji has grown by 37,000 members since the onset of the pandemic in 2020👍

Christianity is Changing: Insights from the Shincheonji Bible Seminar      On October 5, the "Testimony on the Fulfilled Realities of Revelation" seminar held by Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, marked a significant turning point in the relationship between traditional Christian leaders and the church. Attracting over 400 pastors and seminary students, the event showcased an intriguing phenomenon: many who had previously opposed Shincheonji were now eager to hear Chairman Lee Man-hee's teachings firsthand.  Chairman Lee’s address emphasized the "truth" found within Shincheonji’s doctrine, challenging the misconceptions often associated with the church. His passionate call for attendees to critically examine their beliefs and the teachings of Shincheonji resonated deeply. Many pastors, who once viewed the church as a cult, found themselves reflecting on their own practices and acknowledging the gaps in their understanding of biblical teachings...

It's intriguing, especially considering Shincheonji has faced considerable opposition from established church denominations.  The Shicheonji Church of Jesus recently held a Bible exchange program, which was attended by 80 religious leaders. We live in a world with a diverse array of religions.   The word "religion" means "re-connect," as it allows humans to connect with God.  But why do people believe in religion? What is religion, and which scriptures hold the most truth?  Unfortunately, religion can also lead to conflicts and even wars in our global society. In light of this, one pastor is calling for unity among religions.  The Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony recently held a bible interchanging program, called the "1st Revelation Special Lecture," from February 20th to 23rd in Seoul and Gyeonjji, Korea. This program brought together 80 religious leaders from 10 different religions and 27 countries, including Korea.  A Hindu religious leader stated, "Let's gather with open hearts and break down barriers to become one...
