[Lesson 1] The Two Kinds of Spirits (God and Satan)
1. Who is God
1) The word of the beginning
Jn 1:1-4
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
➥It says God is the word of the beginning. The word has a power to create the world, life and light.
2) The creator of the heavens and the earth
Genesis 1:1) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth
Ephesian 4:6) one God and Father of all, who is over all and thorough all and in all.
3) One and only God
Isaiah 37:`6) "O Lord Almighty, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
Mark 12:29) "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

4) Self existence
Exodus 3:14) And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I Am has sent me to you.'"
5) The name of the one and only God is Jehova
Exodus 3:15) God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, 'The LORD, the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob--has sent me to you,' This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.
6) God is spirit
John 4:24) God is spirit, and his worships must worship in spirit and in truth."
2. Who is Satan
1) the expression of Satan in the Bible
Genesis 3:1) Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden?"

Revelation 12:9) The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

➨Ezekiel 28 is a story of one of the four archangels who had come to know good and evil.
Satan is the spirit that betrayed God
Isaiah 14:12-15)
12 How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
13 You said in you heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High."
15 But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit.

➥Satan is an angle who sinned-opposing God because of arrogance and greed.
4) The results after Satan's appearance
- the spiritual world and physical world become divided into two
- for the last 6,000 years, Satan is been caring out the work of opposing God and interfering with God
- the war between God and Satan has been taking place in both spiritual world and physical world
3. How to distinguish God's work and Satan's work
1) The work of God
Deuteronomy 18:22) If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

2) The work of Satan
John 8:44) You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Thessalonians 2:4)
The one who opposes says himself up in the temple of God and proclaim himself to be God
4. How to come out of the place where Satan works and come to the place where God is
John 3:3-5)
3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
4 "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"
5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
