Amid blood supply emergency, Shincheonji Church steps up to donate

Dozens of New York based memberd of New Heaven New Earth, Shincheonji Church of Jesus (SCJ), participated in a group blood donation expected to run May 6th through May 13th. Donations were made through the New York Blood Center (NYBC), one of the world's largest independent blood centers.

The church members' donations come amid a blood supply emergency announced by the NYBC. As of May 9th, the organization reported that inventory is low across all blood types. Ideally, the center would have a 5-7 day blood supply. Currently, however, blood types O and B have fallen to a 1-2-day level.

"This time of the year always tends to be difficult for the blood supply, with school spring breaks and increased travel making blood donations less of a priority," said Andrea Cefarelli, senior executive director at NYBC. "These factors are now coinciding with increasing COVID cases and a potential fifth wave of the pandemic."

The latest news comes during a national blood supply shortage that has made headlines since early 2022. Pix 11 reported that the NYBC previously collected 50 pints of blood on a typical day. By January 2022, it was only collecting seven or eight pints per day.

Inspired to save lives and raise awareness, member of SCJ in New York leaped at the chance to donate blood. The church hopes that others will be encouraged to do the same.

Donations made in New York follow the group blood donation of more than 18,478 members of SCJ in South Korea. All certificated and tickets collected within the two-week donation period will be given to the Korean Red Cross. So far, donation tickets worth nearly $100,000 have been gathered.

SCJ members have stepped up to donate blood since 2020. Following a request made by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, members donated plasma a time when Covid-19 treatments were not yet available.

  1. It was only a few months ago that 18,628 blood donors from Shincheonji Church of Jesus restored the blood supply crisis in South Korea with the largest blood donation in history made by any single organisation within just two weeks. All SCJ donors waived their donor rights, equivalent to 110 million Korean won (£70,000), and gifted them to the Red Cross to help those most in need of a blood transfusion. It is no exaggeration to say that countless lives have been saved in Korea. Moreover, the Korean Red Cross likened their contribution to ‘’rain during a season of drought” and the Korea Record Institute officially certified this unprecedented donation as a record. And now, an estimated 100,000 people from the same group will yet again donate their blood in light of another surge of COVID-19 cases in Korea. Why is mainstream media not reporting this? Thank you for your love for humanity, Shincheonji.

Shincheonji is asking us, "What era is it now?" and "Who am I according to the Bible?"

Shincheonji is asking us, "What era is it now?" and "Who am I according to the Bible?"   Shincheonji Church of Jesus is hosting a Bible seminar with a focus on the "fulfilled realities of the entire book of Revelation. " The seminar commenced in Seoul on October 7th and will continue to other cities in South Korea until October 21st. Chairman Lee Man-hee of Shincheonji Church is testifying to all the realities within the book of Revelation. During the seminar, many pastors and members of the media attended, and Chairman Lee Man-hee posed the questions, "What era is it now?" and "Who am I according to the Bible?" When I heard these questions, my curiosity was piqued, and I wondered, "What's the significance of these questions?" I've learned that those who believe in Jesus are eagerly awaiting His second coming, and Jesus has promised us that He will return to us soon.  However, no one has been able to tell us when and w

The Word Chosen by 100,000 People: Why Are Believers Flocking to Shincheonji Church of Jesus?

The Shincheonji Church of Jesus, having successfully completed two 100,000-member graduation ceremonies, held its third.  Notably, this ceremony has garnered attention due to the graduation of a significant number of pastors. One might wonder why so many people have chosen the teachings of Shincheonji. It's intriguing, especially considering Shincheonji has faced considerable opposition from established church denominations. The fact that so many believers flock to hear its teachings is certainly surprising. Shincheonji has been actively holding online seminars via YouTube and has formally signed MOUs with 9,593 churches across 80 countries. Shincheonji promises to collaborate with these churches, teaching not only the words of Revelation but also systematically teaching the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Furthermore, 1,365 churches in 30 countries have changed their signs to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, showing unity through the word. Why are believers flocking to Shincheonj

The Shicheonji Church of Jesus recently held a Bible exchange program, which was attended by 80 religious leaders. We live in a world with a diverse array of religions.   The word "religion" means "re-connect," as it allows humans to connect with God.  But why do people believe in religion? What is religion, and which scriptures hold the most truth?  Unfortunately, religion can also lead to conflicts and even wars in our global society. In light of this, one pastor is calling for unity among religions.  The Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony recently held a bible interchanging program, called the "1st Revelation Special Lecture," from February 20th to 23rd in Seoul and Gyeonjji, Korea. This program brought together 80 religious leaders from 10 different religions and 27 countries, including Korea.  A Hindu religious leader stated, "Let's gather with open hearts and break down barriers to become one
